„Knygų kūrėjai“ – vaikams ir jaunimui kuriančių autorių patirtis dokumentuojantis tinklaraštis. Kiekvieną mėnesį pristatome ryškiausių jaunajai auditorijai skirtų knygų sukūrimo užkulisius. Pagal tinklaraščio temų gaires knygas „narsto“ patys autoriai – Lietuvos rašytojai, iliustratoriai, dizaineriai.Siekiame burti vaikams ir jaunimui kuriančių rašytojų ir iliustruotojų bendruomenę, kviečiame diskusijai ir gilesniam vienas kito kūrybos pažinimui.
2018-aisiais kalbinome rašytojus, dailininkus ir mažiau matomų profesijų atstovus, palydinčius knygą nuo pradinės idėjos iki skaitytojo.
2019-aisiais atvertėme naują puslapį ir ėmėmės narplioti knygų atsiradimo istorijas. Tiksliau, mūsų lydimi jas narplioja patys tų knygų kūrėjai.
2020-aisiais planuojame tęsti „knygų anatomijos“ temą, išskirtinį dėmesį skirdami paveikslėlių knygoms. Vos prieš porą metų dar buvusios nelabai populiarios, jos pagaliau užima deramą vietą skaitytojų, knygynų ir leidyklų lentynose. Lietuvių autoriai taip pat prisijaukino šį žanrą, todėl labai maga juos pakalbinti!

BOOK MAKERS
Knygų kūrėjai (Book Makers) is a blog documenting the experiences of people involved in the process of creating books for children and young people. Each month we present stories of the making of some of the best books for young audiences. The authors – Lithuanian writers, illustrators, designers – analyze the books according to the guidelines of the topics of the blog. We strive to build a community of writers and illustrators who create books for children and teens, hoping to promote discussions that would lead to a better understanding of each other’s work.
In 2018, we talked to writers, artists, and representatives of other professions that accompany the book from its original idea to the final result.
In 2019, we opened a new page and began to unravel the histories of books. To be more precise, we help the books’ authors unravel them.
In 2020, we plan to continue the theme of “book anatomy” with a special focus on picture books. Not so popular only a couple of years ago, picture books now hold a valuable place on the shelves of readers, bookstores and publishing houses. Lithuanian authors have made considerable progress in this genre and we can’t wait to ask them about their experiences!
